The Milwaukee Brewers have taken command of the 2026 World Series, leading the Tampa Bay Rays 2–0 as the series shifts to Florida. Milwaukee captured Game 1 with a 3–2 victory before staging a dramatic comeback in Game 2. Trailing 4–0, the Brewers rallied for a 5–4 win, extending their postseason winning streak to seven games. After sweeping the Dodgers in the NLCS, Milwaukee is now just two victories away from its first World Series championship. World Series Favorites: The Brewers are overwhelming favorites at -750, giving them an implied championship probability of approximately 88%. Tampa Bay sits at +500, facing an uphill battle despite returning home for the next three games. Game 3 takes place Monday night at 7 p.m. CT, featuring Milwaukee's Robert Gasser against Tampa Bay's Freddy Peralta. San Francisco remained undefeated at 6-0, surviving Washington 23-17 behind Brock Purdy's 264 passing yards and two rushing touchdowns from Christian McCaffrey. Kansas City also stayed perfect at 5-0, dominating the Chargers 22-6, while Buffalo improved to 5-1 with a thrilling 33-30 victory over Las Vegas. Chicago bounced back impressively, defeating Atlanta 31-23 as Caleb Williams returned from injury to throw for 305 yards. New England continued its resurgence with a 26-19 win over the Jets, while Green Bay handled Dallas 23-13. The biggest surprises included Carolina upsetting Philadelphia 25-14, handing the defending NFC East champions their fourth consecutive loss, and Cleveland edging Baltimore 13-10. Houston also made a statement in London, defeating Jacksonville 34-31 behind C.J. Stroud's 312 passing yards and three touchdowns. Arizona stunned the Rams 18-16, adding to Los Angeles' early-season struggles. Heading Into Week 7: San Francisco and Kansas City remain the NFL's only undefeated teams, firmly establishing themselves as Super Bowl favorites. Buffalo continues to look dangerous, while Minnesota, New England and Chicago are emerging as serious playoff contenders. Meanwhile, Philadelphia's four-game losing streak is becoming a major concern, and the Rams and Cowboys face mounting pressure to turn their seasons around. The AFC North is shaping up to be a tight race, with Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Cleveland all sitting at 4-2. College football delivered another wild weekend as seven ranked teams suffered defeats, including three Top 10 programs. With the playoff race tightening, Week 8 proved that no contender is safe. The biggest upset came in Orlando, where UCF Knights stunned No. 2 BYU Cougars 39–31 in double overtime. Quarterback Keyone Jenkins threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns, handing BYU its first loss of the season. Meanwhile, Cincinnati shocked No. 8 Texas Tech 37–24 behind Cole Tabb's 173 rushing yards. No. 19 Texas Longhorns revived their playoff hopes with a 34–27 victory over No. 7 Ole Miss, while undefeated Utah rallied past Houston 21–13. South Carolina stunned Tennessee 27–24, Minnesota upset Iowa 13–10, and Wisconsin dominated USC 24–7. At the top, No. 1 Miami Hurricanes crushed Pittsburgh 52–23. Quarterback Darian Mensah threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns, while Malachi Toney delivered an incredible 16 receptions, 194 yards and three touchdowns. Indiana survived Michigan 13–6 in overtime, and UCLA remained unbeaten with a 28–10 victory over Michigan State. The October 25 AP poll features a reshuffled Top 5: 1. Miami (7–0) | 2. Ohio State (6–1) | 3. Georgia (6–1) | 4. Indiana (7–1) | 5. Notre Dame (6–1), Utah climbs to No. 6, UCLA reaches No. 7, and BYU tumbles six spots to No. 8. Miami, Utah and UCLA are now the only three undefeated FBS teams remaining. Heading into Week 9: October 31 brings another pivotal weekend. No. 2 Ohio State travels to USC, No. 3 Georgia faces No. 17 Florida, and No. 13 Texas Tech hosts No. 22 Arizona. Miami visits North Carolina looking to preserve its perfect season.
